Description
WooCommerce’s quantity field accepts any positive number by default — there’s no native setting for “minimum order 6 units,” “maximum 50 per customer,” or “only sold in multiples of 12.” This adds that control at whichever level it’s actually needed: a single product, an entire category, or the cart as a whole, with an independent minimum, maximum, and step increment for each. A step of 6 with a minimum of 6, for instance, only allows 6, 12, 18 and so on — anything else is rejected with a clear message before checkout, not silently allowed through.
Particularly useful for wholesale or bulk-focused catalogs where single-unit orders don’t make business sense, or where a product is only profitable to fulfill in case-pack quantities — set the rule once per product or category and it’s enforced everywhere that product can be purchased, cart page included.
